17 miles from the open sea (Vung Tau's Pilot Station).

PROFILE
Because the cruise industry is building bigger and longer vessels, the
Port of Phu My in Vietnam, provides an unmatched nautical access for large
cruise vessels.
Since
its start at the end of 1996, cruise ships (P&O, Star Cruises, Royal Caribbean...)
visited regularly the port. Passengers enjoy the smooth ride from the
port to tourist spots like Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Cu Chi tunnels or
sand beaches of Vung Tau and Long Hai.

City through a major highway completely refurbished in 1998. For the near

equip it to better serve cruise vessels.
